Dr. Lynch Only Nevada Surgeon to be named to Becker's Orthopedic & Spine Review's list of "100 of the Best Spine Surgeons and Specialists in America"
04.07.2011 - (April 7, 2011) RENO, NV - Dr. James Lynch has been selected for Becker's Orthopedic & Spine Review's annual list of "100 of the Best Spine Specialists in America". Dr. James Lynch is the only surgeon in Nevada to be included in this list of the country's most prominent and noteworthy spine surgeons. Becker's Orthopedic & Spine Review offers news and analysis on business and legal issues related to orthopedic and spine practices. The Becker's Orthopedic & Spine Review editorial team selected the surgeons and specialists based on their leadership in prestigious spine organizations, their immense procedural and technological contributions to the field and other notable accomplishments pertaining to spine surgery. The list was created through extensive research and recommendations from around the country before being vetted through some of the most well-respected spine surgeons in America. Physicians do not pay and cannot pay to be selected as a best physician on this list. Dr. James Lynch is a board-certified neurosurgeon with 19 years of experience, who specializes in complex spinesurgery, cervical disorders, degenerative spine, spinal deformities, trauma, tumor infection and minimally invasive spine surgery. Dr. Lynch is one of a handful of spine surgeons with three fellowships in the specialty of spinesurgery. He has been a consultant neurosurgeon in the Reno area since 2000 after completing his neurosurgery residency at Mayo Clinic and spine fellowships at Queens Square in London and Barrow Neurological Institute in Phoenix. Dr. Lynch has been published in leading journals including: Spine: Journal of Neurosurgery and Neurosurgery. He is the founder of SpineNevada and serves as Chairman and Director of Spine Programs at the Surgery Center of Reno. Dr. Lynch has also served as Chief of Neurosurgery at St. Mary’s Hospital. He serves as a Partner and Director of Spine Services at Regent Surgical Health, a company involved in developing hospitals and ASC outpatient surgery centers. SpineNevada is located at 75 Pringle Way, Suite 605, on the campus of Renown Medical Center in Central Reno, with a satellite location in Sparks.
